turlif 投稿 "HP Labs recently published the research paper that outlines the work on Coliseum, a PC based Web Conferencing system. Coliseum has 5 separate cameras attached to the PC monitor and directed to the participant. The cameras video feeds of the participant are from different angles and combines them into a 3D representation. This 3D representation of each participant are then placed into a shared simulated environment that gives the appearance that all the participants are in the same room.
Colisem is not yet ready for show, as it still has high hardware and bandwidth requirements.
