turlif 投稿 "Industrial Research has developed a hand-held scanner, that quickly creates realistic 3D models of crime scenes, movie sets and large objects. Still a prototype, the scanner uses a digital camera with an on-board laser to calculate the distance between the object and the scanner, then cross references readings with targets that are placed around the scene to tell it where it is in the room. The scan can be rendered to a computer while it is underway, so the user can choose whether to go into more detail, or redo parts of the scan. This is the first scanner that can move freely around an object or room. It is still 2 years away form market."
