先日、シリーズ最新作の『ハリーポッター 死の秘宝 Part 2』が公開されて話題を呼んだハリーポッターシリーズの、『ハリーポッター 死の秘宝 Part 1』のメイキング映像が公開されています。

ハリーポッターシリーズでは、その舞台設定でで他のファンタジー作品と同じようにスケールの大きい合成を多用しているので、こうしたメイキング映像は見ていてとてもわくわくしますね。
コンポジット作業の参考にもどうぞ。

おなじみの低速度&ティルト・シフト撮影映像ですが、今回はドバイの町並みを撮影したものが話題を呼んでいます。

元々の町並み (特に夜景)がきれいだということもあって、とても心引かれる映像に仕上がっていますね。とくにライトアップの瞬間なんかはさながらレトロフーチャーな電子機器のよう。
低速度&ティルト・シフト撮影はプロアマとわずかなりの方が撮影に挑戦しているかと思いますが、こういった映像を見ると自分でもやってみたくなってしまいますね。

CG Channel has pointed out a cool one-man student short very much worth sharing. It is a neat little fable about greed and destruction with a nicely stylised look, done in Cinema4D and composed in After Effects.

一度目を通してもらえると分かるかと思いますが、撮影方法の工夫で非常に面白く魅力的な画に仕上がっています。

2012年6月15日に欧米で公開予定の映画「Jack the Giant Killer」のトレイラー映像が公開されました。
「Jack the Giant Killer」は日本でも広く知られている童話「ジャックと豆の木」をベースにしたファンタジー映画で、X-menシリーズのBryan Singer氏が監督を行っています。

CGで描かれた巨人のスケール感に期待が高まります。
日本での公開も非常に楽しみですね。

Synopsis:
Eliezer S. Yudkowsky* wrote about an experiment which had to do with Artificial Inteligence. In a near future, man will have given birth to machines that are able to rewrite their codes, to improve themselves, and, why not, to dispense with them. This idea sounded a little bit distant to some critic voices, so an experiment was to be done: keep the AI sealed in a box from which it could not get out except by one mean: convincing a human guardian to let it out.

What if, as Yudkowsky states, ‘Humans are not secure’? Could we chess match our best creation to grant our own survival? Would man be humble enough to accept he was superseded, to look for primitive ways to find himself back, to cure himself from a disease that’s on his own genes? How to capture a force we voluntarily set free? What if mankind worst enemy were humans?

In a near future, we will cease to be the dominant race.

In a near future, we will learn to fear what is to come.

まるで映画のようですが実際に会った事故。パイロットは病院に運び込まれたものの、無事だそうです。
7階建ての高さに達するテレコム・クリスマスツリーをオークランド中部Te Weroアイランドブリッジにて設置しようとしていたヘリコプターがそのままツリーを維持するためのワイヤーにプロペラを引っかけてしまって地面に激突する衝撃の瞬間のムービーです。

ロンドンのポストプロダクション会社「Finish」のデモリール動画が公開されています。
多くの賞を受賞してるだけあって、安定したクオリティで魅せてきますね。

幅広いジャンルの映像を手がけているので、CMやネットで見たことがあるものも入っているかもしれません。

2012〜2013年にかけて二部構成で公開予定の映画『The Hobbit』の撮影風景をおさめた動画が公開されています。

『The Hobbit』は『ロード・オブ・ザ・リング』の前日譚となる物語で、今回もモーションキャプチャをはじめとしたCG技術をふんだんに使い、ファンタジックな世界観を表現しています。
また、今回は3D映画としての公開です。

前作が原作ファンにも映画ファンにも勧められる (個人差あり)非常に良いできだったので、今回も期待したいところです。

Evelyn Evelynのミュージックビデオ”Have You Seen My Sister Evelyn”が話題になっています。
このコミカルな映像を制作したのはロス在住のHoku Uchiyamaさん。

非常に完成度の高い作品ですので、是非ご一見。

おそらく多くの人はこの動画の様な想像をしたことがあるはず。

Audiの新作CMとそのメイキングです。
疾走感があり、全体の配色がクールにまとめられているのでAudiの持っているイメージそのままといった感じです。
メイキングのロケもかなり楽しそう。

最近、AudiのCMはどれもかっこいいものばかりなので次回作も楽しみです。

日本でも公開された3D映画『くもりときどきミートボール』のメイキング映像がアップロードされています。
劇中の1シーンであるゼリーハウスの部分についてのメイキング映像ですが、ゼリーの質感がとってもいいですね。

We were very inspired by the whole aesthetical universe of the film: the snow, the vintage laboratories, the old machinery… and we tried to put all this together in the titles so that they would slowly introduce the viewers to the world of ‘Eva’.”

ティルト・シフトでミニチュア風の映像にするのはよく見かけますが、これはその映像にさらに手間を加えてすごく面白い映像に仕上げています。
こういう類いの映像表現は別に似たような構想を練ってた訳でもないのに、先にやられるととても悔しい気持ちになります。
