Robochess, a chess playing robot that has been programmed to give a fair fight for its opponent. Although chess playing robots have been introduced before, it is programmed with the best possible moves, the most frequently made moves and the most winning moves.
The chessboard used for attaching the robot has a magnetic sensor on it. The chess pieces are also made with magnet for the robot to track. The Robochess has an LCD display in it that shows each of the moves it has made so far.
What is amazing about Robochess is not just the quality of play it will give its opponent, but the brain and creativity behind it. Its maker is not yet 20 years old, and he has written Robochess with 6,500 lines of C code.
