Blender also contains a Game Engine which was demonstrated here at the siggraph. I attend this talk to late so I missed the beginning but some points were quite interesting. Next to technical stuff I liked the presentation because it was made by this engine.
The Blender GE has integrated GLSL as well as sound. I think it’s may be intersting to try out as this is open source and modeling software including game engine. Sounds convenient to me.
