turlif 投稿 "Novell has led the development of Xgl since 2004, and has now announced enhancedments to this system, including a new compositing manager. Xgl is the X server architechture layered on top of OpenGL, which can take advantage of accelerated 3D rendering hardware. It is designed to work with a compositing manager. Compiz by Novell, is a new OpenGL compositing manager and is the framework that enables the development of graphical plug-ins.
